Liam Warren lives and works in Marseille. Formed at the National Ballet School of Canada, the Alvin Ailey School in New York and Codarts University in the Netherlands, he has worked as a dancer with Angelin Preljocaj and Yves-Noël Genod. He is part of a transversal practice by developing a choreographic work at the crossroads of research on corporality, performance and light. His performances take place in theatres as well as in alternative places: white cube, public space, historical monuments, disused places…
Alternating renewable proposals and creations in situ, he leads a reflection guided by the will to experiment with new forms and to hybridize live arts and plastic arts. Involved in collective projects, his work also has a social dimension, notably with the group Refuge Migrants LGBTQI+ in Marseille.
Liam Warren created in October 2022 Merge, a piece for 5 performers at La Friche la Belle de mai in Marseille as part of the actoral festival.
