Visual artist, video and documentary maker.
Born in Aveyron in 1987.
Lives and works in Marseille.
Graduated in Performing Arts and Journalism, Nina Gazaniol Vérité studies the diversion of television through performance art in the thesis “Don’t hate the Media, Be the media”, does internships at ARTE and approaches experimental cinema while getting involved in multiple trans-disciplinary projects. In 2013, she joined the Formation supérieure pour la création en espace public (FAI AR) where she developed her interest in architecture, territories, notions of spaces and inhabitants, and worked on the collision of pop and classical culture. Since 2015, she imagines different projects while cultivating a valuable relationship with research and writing, notably as a critic (Mouvement magazine) or with the independent editions Balleperdue. She regularly collaborates with various groups and artists, including Anna Anderegg / Asphalt Piloten, BallePerdue Collectif and KompleX KapharnaüM, where she has been an associate artist since 2020. Her work, at the crossroads of digital and spatial arts, performance and documentary, questions a plastic writing anchored in reality. And vice versa.
